ARISE TENNIS COACHING

Arise Tennis was built on the foundational idea that great coaching builds better players and in turn builds stronger communities. “Sport for all” is the mantra embraced by the Arise Coaching Team led by Coach Kawanish Ross, affectionately known as Coach K.
Coach K coached top 100 ATP and WTA Tour professionals and is also USTPA Certified. He attended Georgia Southern, where he played #1. He then started coaching players from around the world from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, England, Nigeria and USA to name a few.

Now, he leads a fleet of experienced coaches at the South Fulton Tennis Center with a mission to build up the community through the game of tennis.

Fashionably known Aaru. I was born and raised in India. In 2017, I made my way to the United States on an athletic scholarship, embarking on my journey as a professional tennis player.

During my time here, I played No. 1 in both singles and doubles for NCAA D1 at Tennessee State University. Additionally, I earned my master's degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design. While playing for college, I spent a year working as an assistant coach for high-performance groups at the YMCA Club in Nashville, TN. I also conducted hitting lessons with players, sharing the insights and experiences I gained as a professional player.

My aim is to help players enhance their performance in matches by providing guidance based on my own journey in the world of tennis.

I started playing tennis when I was 15 years old. I became skilled enough to play college tennis on a scholarship. Upon finishing college, I started playing professional tennis. In my downtime, I coach youth, intermediate, and adult tennis programs.

My favorite students are adults because I can really specialize the program to their individual needs. I really enjoy bringing my student's game the next level.
